I decided to upload Kenley's baby announcement to preserve it for Kenley to enjoy someday. Again, Sue Thulin gets credit for the photographs and the announcements. Andrea told her exactly what she and Chris wanted and Sue came through. She did a magnificent job and we give her credit every time someone compliments Andrea on the announcements! Sue deserves it.
While at the resort Andrea wanted to take Kenley for her first dip in a pool. We searched for Little Swimmers in size small and found none so we used our Yankee ingenuity and bought size mediums and some packing tape and wrapped it around the top of the swim diaper! The pool was too cold and Kenley started to shiver so Andrea took her to the 90-degree hot tub to warm her up. This entire experience lasted less than 10 minutes and then we whisked her into the pool house with a roaring fire and warmed her up. At least it made for some great photos!
On February 9, we took a 5-day trip to Depoe Bay, Oregon with Andrea & Kenley for some rest and relaxation (unfortunately Chris had to work). We had a great time. We experienced a potpourri of weather: rain, snow, wind, and sunshine. We never got tired of watching the waves crash into the rocks right below our balcony. I love this resort!
Andrea & Chris drove in the December snow to get Kenley's newborn pictures taken with their photographer, Sue Thulin of Thulin Photography. It was important to get these taken before Kenley turned 2 weeks! The results are incredible. Thank you to Sue who did a fabulous job and for giving me permission to post the prints on my blog. We look forward to the other three photo shoots as Kenley grows to her first birthday!
