Wrestling with G-Papa & her feet!

More precious photos

Almost 7 months!! Where does the time go?

Kenley's hair is wild as we all know but I had pulled it up (Tabitha style) and put a barrette in it and when I took it out, well, she looks like a rooster!! What a hoot!

It was cousin Ryer's first birthday today. Kenley, Nana and G-Papa went to the party to celebrate! Here are just a few pictures of Kenley enjoying herself in the warm summer sun.

Cousin Ryer's First Birthday!

Cousin Ryer turned 1 today. What a sweet boy he is. I think he looks just like his dad in this picture. What a great cake adventure he had. We love you little Ryer.

What a week it has been!

I have been obsessed with the passing of two famous people last week. Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. I can't seem to get enough. I feel terribly bad for Farrah who died on the same day as the King of Pop. She deserved so much more attention than she received. Her valiant fight against cancer was amazing. She stayed so strong throughout her ordeal. I know she is finally at peace.

I think my fascination with Michael's passing is that it was so unexpected. He was waging his comeback at age 50 that was to kick off in July. He had scheduled 50 concerts in London! The legal ramifications of the probate of his estate, the parentage of his children, the lawsuits that may come and the overall sadness of him being such a fabulous musician, dancer and all round entertainer, and yet, never a very happy man in life is intriguing to me. It seems that offstage, he was a man who had little confidence in himself. How can that be when he was such a talented and gifted man. I do not believe all the stories about him being a pedophile. I think Michael was just trying to be the child he was never allowed to be. He felt most comfortable with children because they didn't judge him. At least in my mind, this is how I plan to remember him.
