Summer 2011
I have been awful about posting photos the last two months. Since this is 7/30/11, I thought I'd better get to it.
The month of June, Janelle came to visit for two weeks. We went to NW Trek, the park several times, had some great meals out, got to have dinner at the Cloverleaf with Lynne, Mike, Rose and Ashley where Kenley seemed to be the entertainment of the evening. She danced to Just Bieber's song, Baby, over and over again and tells you when Ludacrist is about to rap. She had us all in hysterics! We enjoyed a fantastic Mexican Fiesta with the Miller families on my side of the family. Kenley especially enjoyed her time with Auntie Ju Ju for two straight weeks - no daycare/school!
With July coming to a close, Kenley never ceases to amaze us. She now enjoys the movie Annie and knows some of the lyrics to "It's the hardknock life", and is obsessed with Dora the explorer. She knows the sound to every letter in the alphabet and can give you an example of a word that starts with every letter. She has known how to spell her name for at least 6 months. If you ask her what starts with the letter K, she tells you emphatically K E N L E Y or Kangaroo.
At her last check up she weighed in at 32 lbs and is 37 inches tall. She is active, loves to dance and is generally a very very happy 2 year old. When she does throw a fit, she basically throws herself to the floor but makes no noise! That's the way we like it! She is a delight. She also does "the model walk" which is a hoot to watch. Her hands are supposed to be on her waist but she puts them closer to her armpits and then struts her stuff!

Nana & Papa go to Cabo (Janelle meets us there)

We spent 12 glorious days in the sun. We stayed at Coral Baja and then moved to the Grand Mayan for the second week. The trip was awesome. The hard part was that we missed Kenley so much!
